How to set your website address and a short brand description, the two fields the Fibly bot uses as its basic context.
The Brand section contains two fields that form the basic context of every conversation. The bot uses them to know who and what it is answering about.
Website address
The Website address field is the URL of your site, for example
https://yourstore.com. Fibly uses it to:
- verify the domain the widget is embedded on,
- generate links in the conversations the bot has with customers.
If you change your domain, update this field. An out-of-date address can cause the widget to stop loading on your new site.
Brand description
The Brand description field is free-form text (1 to 3 sentences) describing your company. The bot will use it as general context. It helps the bot understand which industry you operate in and who your customer is.
What to write
✅ "A sportswear store for runners. We sell running shoes, clothing, and accessories for amateur and professional runners. We ship within Poland only."
✅ "A law firm specializing in commercial company law. We serve startups and mid-sized companies on M&A and compliance matters."
What not to write
❌ Do not write long stories about your company's history, mission, and vision. This is not marketing copy.
❌ Do not use industry jargon that the bot might pick up and paste into an answer to a customer.
❌ Do not repeat information that you already have in your knowledge base. The bot will read it anyway.
