Team members

How to invite, edit, and remove a user in the Fibly dashboard.

You'll find the list of people with access to your Fibly account under Settings, Team members. This is where you invite new users, change their roles, and revoke access.

The member list

The table shows:

  • User: first name, last name, and email address.
  • Status: Active (accepted the invitation) or Invited (still waiting to accept the link).
  • Role: Admin, Manager, or Agent (see Roles and permissions).
  • Actions: change the role, resend the invitation, or remove the user from the team.

Above the table you'll see a counter of seats used along with the limit available on your plan. As you approach the limit, the counter turns yellow (above 70%) or red (limit reached).

The seat limit comes from your plan. If you need more seats than your plan allows, you can purchase additional ones by contacting us at kontakt@fibly.pl.

Inviting a new member

  1. Click Add new user in the top-right corner.
  2. In the dialog, enter the email address of the person you're inviting.
  3. Choose a role from the list.
  4. Click Send invitation.

Fibly will send an email with an activation link valid for 7 days. After clicking the link, the invited person sets their first name, last name, and password, and is then automatically taken to your dashboard with the appropriate role.

Invitation statuses

  • Pending: the invitation has been sent but not yet accepted.
  • Expired: more than 7 days have passed since it was sent, and the link no longer works. In this case you can resend the invitation, which generates a new, valid link.
  • Accepted: the user has activated their account and is a full member of the team (status Active).

Changing an existing member's role

  1. In the table, next to the chosen user, click the edit icon.
  2. Choose a new role from the list.
  3. Confirm the change.

Role changes take effect immediately. If the currently logged-in person has had their role changed, they'll notice it after the next dashboard reload.

A Manager cannot change someone's role to Admin. Only an Admin can grant this highest role.

Removing a member from the team

In the Actions column, choose the remove option. Confirm in the dialog. The user loses access to the dashboard immediately. If they were assigned to ongoing conversations, those are returned to the bot pool.

Removing a user can't be undone in a single click, but you can send a new invitation to the same email address and everything will be set up again from scratch.

What's next

Before you invite the whole office, review Roles and permissions. A well-chosen role helps avoid accidental changes to the bot's configuration or the knowledge base.
