Installing on Squarespace

How to embed the Fibly widget on a Squarespace site through the "Code Injection" section.

Squarespace lets you add a custom script without touching the template, thanks to the Code Injection section in your site settings.

Step 1: open Code Injection

  1. Log in to your Squarespace panel.
  2. From the menu on the left, select Settings.
  3. Then Advanced, Code Injection.

In the Footer field, paste:

<script async src="https://cdn.fibly.io/widget/fibly-widget.js"></script>

Then click Save.

We use the Footer, not the Header, so the script doesn't delay the loading of the page's first view.

Step 3: check your changes

Open your site in a new tab (preferably in incognito mode). The chat button should appear in the bottom-right corner.

Squarespace plan

The Code Injection section is available only on the Business, Commerce, and higher plans. The Personal plan doesn't offer this option.

What's next

After embedding the script, complete domain verification. Without it, the widget won't start working on your site.
