Connect your Instagram Professional account so Fibly replies to your Instagram direct messages (DMs). Every DM lands in Conversations with your other channels.

Before you start

You need an Instagram Professional account (a business or creator account). You'll authorize Fibly through Instagram's own sign-in during the connection.

Connect your account

  1. Open Settings → Integrations and open the Instagram channel (Add channel → Instagram, or Configure if it's already added).
  2. Click Connect Instagram.
  3. You'll be taken to Instagram to sign in and authorize access. After you confirm, you're returned to Fibly.
  4. The connected account appears in the list with a status of Active or Pending.

Use Disconnect next to an account to stop answering its DMs, or the channel switch on the Integrations page to pause Instagram entirely.

What happens next

Instagram DMs become conversations in Conversations; filter by Instagram to see only those. The bot answers from your knowledge base, and your team can take over from Live support whenever they want to step in.
