Installing on Wix

How to add the Fibly widget to a Wix site through the site settings panel.

Wix doesn't require editing the template code. The whole process comes down to pasting a single value into a ready-made form in your site settings.

Step 1: open your site settings

  1. Log in to Wix and open the Site Editor.
  2. In the menu on the left, click Settings.
  3. Select Custom Code.

Step 2: add a new code snippet

  1. Click Add Custom Code.
  2. In the Paste the code snippet here field, insert: 
    <script async src="https://cdn.fibly.io/widget/fibly-widget.js"></script>
  3. In the snippet settings, choose:
    • Load code on: All pages, load once.
    • Place code in: Body - end.
  4. Click Apply.

Step 3: publish your changes

Wix doesn't show the widget in the editor's preview mode. You have to publish the site:

  1. In the top-right corner, click Publish.
  2. After publishing, open your site's address in a new tab.

The Custom Code section is available only on paid Wix plans (Combo and higher). On the Free plan you can't paste the script, so the widget won't work.

What's next

After successfully embedding the script, remember to complete domain verification. Without it, the widget won't load on your site.
